Save the Udders Raises Money for American Cancer Society

The Bulls pose in the pink jerseys (above) they wore during the July 10th game against the Fulton Railroaders. After the game, the shirts were auctioned off to fans. The auction raised over $900 for the American Cancer Society, just one of the many charities supported by the Bulls this season (more photos below).

The idea for "Save the Udders" was the brainchild of the Bulls' Marketing Coordinator, Laura Dennis, who not only thought of the idea, but coordinated the event and found a sponsor. Sikeston Implement Company stepped up to the plate (so to speak) and sponsored the event by paying for the cost of the shirts.

The event also included the sale of pink bracelets, the proceeds of which also go to the American Cancer Society. In total, the event raised $980 for the American Cancer Society.

The Bulls are thankful for everyone who made the event possible. Because it was such a big hit, this event will likely be on our calendar again next year.
