Bulls Game Postponed Due to Rain on July 4th -- After a double loss in Thursday's double-header, the Bulls rallied to a 1-0 victory over the Bobcats. The series conclusion on Saturday was postponed due to rain. The Bulls play at home again against Fulton on Sunday and Monday. Fulton currently has the second best record in the league after being beaten by Union City on Saturday night. The Bulls have faced the Railroaders five times this season with two wins and three losses. Sunday will the be the first time the Bulls have faced the Railroaders at home this season.

KFVS-12 had a camera crew at the Bulls game on Saturday, June 27th to record the flag-raising before the game. The flag had been flown at the US Embassy in Baghdad, Iraq on July 28th, 2008 in honor of Sikeston's support of veterans.
Lance Young pitched a complete nine-inning game against the Marion Bobcats on July 3rd, getting the win with a final score of 1-0. He only allowed three hits and three walks and struck out six batters.
Logan Lawson has an ERA of 1.06 after pitching 42.33 innings and allowing only five earned runs. He's struck out 27 batters (more than any other Bulls pitcher) and has only allowed 13 walks with 176 batters faced.
Joe Meggs went 4 for 5 with 2 doubles and 2 singles and racked up 4 RBI on June 27th against the Union City Greyhounds.
Two Bulls have hit grand slams so far this season: Blake Slattery hit a grand slam on May 30th in Fulton, Kentucky. Kody Campbell accomplished the same feat on June 17th in Marion, Kentucky.

Tyler McKay of the Owensboro Oilers pitched a 7-inning complete game shutout on July 1, 2009. The game was limited to seven innings because it was the first game of a double-header.
Three back-to-back homers were hit by Owensboro Oilers’ batters on June 28th in Marion. This is the first time in KIT League history that home runs have been hit by three consecutive batters. The event took place in the top of the fourth inning, contributing to the 6-1 win for the first-place Oilers.
Cody Pack of the Owensboro Oilers has hit nine home runs so far this season. At the half-way point of the 2009 season, this number nearly doubles the 2008 record of five home runs for the season. Cody is on pace to end the season with 16-18 home runs!
On June 26th, Rob Dyer, of the Marion Bobcats, hit his first home run of the season in the Bobcats' 13-1 victory over the Owensboro Oilers. The 13-run win is also a record for the Bobcats in their two-year history with the league.
The Bulls are currently 7-9 at home and 7-7 on the road.
