2009 All-Stars Selected
In a league meeting that was held on July 23, 2009, the KIT League's 2009 All-Star Line-Up was selected. Even though the team won't actually play an All-Star game this year, team managers and owners voted to select an All-Star team as a way to recognize many of the players who made significant contributions to their teams this season.Kody Campbell, Logan Lawson, and Zach Secoy were selected as Sikeston's representatives for this team. Lance Young received Honorable Mention.

Oran, Missouri's Kody Campbell's displayed a remarkable performance this season. He's often been at the top of the league's batting statistics in hits, runs, batting average, and RBIs, and has been the league leader in several of these categories several times throughout the season. Campbell is the Bulls' leader in hits, runs, batting average, doubles, extra-base hits, and RBIs. His position on this year's All-Star line-up is well-deserved.

Logan Lawson, a "local" (from Jackson, Missouri), has been an outstanding starting pitcher for the Bulls this season. He's pitched more innings and faced more batters than any other pitcher on the team. In 66.67 innings pitched, Lawson has allowed only 12 earned runs, giving him an impressive 1.62 ERA. Lawson has also struck out 47 batters and allowed only 54 hits. Lawson's performance this year has contributed significantly to the Bulls' franchise-high record for one season.

Zach Secoy (from East Prairie, Missouri) is arguably one of the best relief pitchers in the league. Facing 90 batters, Secoy allowed only 12 hits, giving batters in the league a .177 batting average against him. With only two earned runs Secoy had an ERA of 0.89.

Lance Young, another "local" (from Cape Girardeau), finished the season with an impressive 5-1 win-loss record, facing 229 batters and allowing only 39 hits in 50.33 innings. Of that total, only nine hits included extra bases.
